A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of providing Jess and Alex’s Hertfordshire wedding photography in Hitchin. I wrote a bit about how Jess and Alex met when I wrote their engagement post which you can see here and here. These two are so adorable and it was so much fun to photograph their wedding.
Hitchin is a picture postcard town in Hertfordshire and with everything in such close proximity, it proved to be the perfect location for Jess and Alex to say ‘I do’. The day began with Jess’ family and bridesmaids getting ready in a gorgeous flat above Toni and Guy in the town square whilst Alex and his groomsmen were just a few steps away in the near by Sun Hotel.
Jess certainly made a statement with these gorgeous red shoes!
Jess’ wore her Nana’s wedding dress which was customised to bring the dress up to date and to suit Jess’ own personal style.
It was a glorious sunny day, if not a little too hot at times but I will leave the following photos to tell the story of the day. This wedding will be split into three separate posts as I have so many images I want to share from the day. Parts 2 and 3 will follow shortly.
You can see part 2 here.
