As 2013 draws to an end, I’ve been working at preparing a new website launch for my Hampshire Wedding Photography, ready for the new year. I call it working but really it’s been a lot of fun since the Showit software and template designs from Promise Tangeman at Sitehouse make the whole process of customising your own website really simple.
A while back I took part in a business coaching project where I learned more about myself and attracting clients who are similar to me. I discovered three main characteristics of my personality that will ultimately attract or repel clients – either is fine as I want to attract clients who have similar personality traits. I’m a wedding photographer for sophisticated, indulgent couples with adventurous souls. If you feel a connection with just one of those traits then we could be a great fit – if you feel a connection with two or even all three of the traits then we have serious potential to be BFFs! You are likely to spend a lot of time with your wedding photographer on your wedding day so finding one who you connect with on a personal level would be a great starting point.
I’m sophisticated – most of the time! I speak eloquently, I have good manners, I like the finer things in life. I like my guilty pleasures and enjoy a little indulgence – this could be in the form of chocolate, a bubble bath surrounded by candles and a tipple of Baileys (I’m not a wine girl), it could be a new pair of designer shoes or treating myself to a manicure. I’m generous with everything in life be it for myself or others – I believe that too much is better than not enough. At my core I’m adventurous. I always have been. I love to travel and so far I’ve been as far afield as Australia (twice) and New Zealand, various countries in and around Europe and have so many other wonderful places to visit on my bucket list. I have flown over the Australian outback in a helicopter, I’ve sailed down the Yellow Billabong River in Darwin, I’ve swung on a pendulum way out over a mountainside in a metal cage (also known as the Rotorua Sky Swing), I’ve climbed Mount Snowdon and both mountains either side, I love sea kayaking and visiting gorgeous beaches. I love the independence that comes with owning a car and the adventures that come with it. When I was in college my best friend and I would often open up a road map (this was in the days before Sat Nav existed) and we would take turns to point at the page with our eyes closed. Then we’d just get in the car and drive to the destination we landed on to see what/who we would find there. By far, my favourite adventures of them all are taking my car on the ferry to Ireland, driving over to the west coast and exploring all it has to offer. Finding a quiet country lane with hedgerows littered with wild flowers that winds it’s way down to a deserted beach with white sand and crystal clear water is my idea of heaven. Life should be filled with amazing experiences as these create memories that we’ll treasure forever.
I hope for my website and blog to be extensions of my personality and a platform through which you can interact and get to know me better. You can also keep updated by liking my Facebook page. I hope you like the new website and feel that it reflects my pillar words and if you or someone you know is getting married and looking for a Hampshire wedding photographer, then I hope we get to meet really soon. Although I’m based in Hampshire, I do travel so if your wedding is in another part of the UK or further afield then I’d still love to hear from you.
For the best viewing experience you’ll need to view the website on a computer or lap top.
Wishing you all a fabulous new year and the best of luck with your wedding planning!
